A few weeks ago our front room was completely empty! I sold off the big rug we brought in from our condo and was hell-bent on a total decor overhaul and refresh!
The funny thing is, we ended up redoing this space with mostly furniture we already owned! Then I added some new throw pillows, faux flowers and cute detail pieces from Michael’s stores, shopping the 70% off sale on summer decor… and wow, what a difference in these photos! It’s such a cozy place to kick up your feet and relax after a long day now!
Not only that, it’s become a fun family space to hang out and play which gives us a little break from our den where we spent most of our time (watching tv, eating meals and utilizing the deck). It’s amazing what a difference it can make when you actually pour time and energy into a space — I’d neglected this room since we moved in but it’s finally getting some good use!
