Finally, girl’s night has come and gone and it’s time to share the pictures!
First the disclaimer: it didn’t turn out all healthy as planned (probably because I bought everything the night before and was scrambling a bit), but nonetheless, with the help of GG, we pulled off an amazing party with lots of good food and fun!
Among my favorite details were this blackberry mojito punchbowl; the cake-vodka infused strawberries; a whipped cream cheese dip for the fruit; and those adorable ball-shaped snicker trees you see above! We also had turkey lettuce wraps and shrimp enchiladas. I’ll be sharing the recipe for some of these items later on, but for now, let’s get to the pictures, shall we?
I had the most fun with the non-food elements, like these personalized red cups- I cut out hearts from paint samples and glued them on, and in each one was another party favor: valentine’s socks!
I loved the table setup as well., utilizing a few favorite pieces from my house: the Melltrop from Ikea and a mirror tray from Target!
Hands down, however, Ghadeer’s snicker’s trees were the hit!
My very favorite element remains the DIY tassels!
They’re still hanging up, and I’m trying to think of another event where I can use them!
(Aaron suggested throwing them away, but I just can’t! Not yet!)
So there you have it- our girl’s night done with a Valentine’s Day theme. I have to say, I’m about over the holiday at this point! Bring it on St. Patty’s!
Do you and your friends have girl’s nights?
Do you ever host holiday-theme parties? What are your favorite elements?
