January Goals

It’s Saturday!
Happy weekend y’all!

What are your plans?

I’m super excited because Fit for a Bride is getting a little makeover today! My good friend and fellow Weddingbee blogger, Mrs. Wizard is going to spruce us up and I can’t wait! I’ll post to Facebook when the overhaul is complete! Be sure to let me know what you think!

Now, you might be wondering why I haven’t mentioned any New Year’s resolutions– hello! It’s the first week of 2013!

Well, I’ve tried setting big, blanket goals for the year and they usually don’t work for me. I end up feeling defeated the next New Year’s Eve because most of my big plans didn’t pan out. So, rather than do that, I’m going to post monthly goals. (Reading this blog, you’ll find, I LOVE goal setting! The goals just have to be SMART [specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and timely])!

With that said, on the first Saturday of each month, you’ll see a graphic similar to the one below with new goals!

(You’ll notice my goals will be a mashup of fitness/wedding/blogging stuff.)

I hope that by breaking down big goals (like blogging all year!) into littler ones (like, blogging Monday through Friday), I’ll be a lot more successful!

What are your goals for this month?

Join me in setting a few SMART goals for January!

Keep me posted about the the workout – I’d love to try it out! And I’m a big proponent of SMART goals – breaking things down and making them more specific can really help them become much more attainable!

Sara, congrats on the new blog! I wish there were something like this when I was wedding planning. I could have used it! Even though I’m no longer a bride, I’ll be following along. Good luck! – Starfish
