Alright so this next thing I’m about to tell you is a BIG deal. Forreals. Like HUGE.
I’m styling a photo shoot.
And… are you ready for this?
I’m working with one of the most sought-after wedding photographers in the industry: Cynthia Kain! Ahh!
Excuse me while I pinch myself! Eek!
So, ok, you’re probably thinking a styled shoot? Huh? Hear me out: a styled shoot is a mock-up; it’s not the real thing but it conveys what’s possible. I guarantee you’ve seen tons of styled weddings around the web, and they’re great for brides because it shows them the potential in their wedding day dreams! On the other hand, I wanted to show the potential of a healthy twist on a traditionally unhealthy wedding event: the bachelorette party.
We all know that bachelorette parties are ridden with binge drinking and partying (most of us have been there, done that), but what if you brought healthy into it? That’s what this shoot is about– showing the world that healthy can be fun and sexy, too! It can be BETTER than binge drinking! Go figure!
The Fit for a Bride Bachelorette Party is going to incorporate Barre- a trendy workout that utilize a horizontal bar at waist level (most of us are used to seeing ballet dancers do Barre). I don’t want to give too much else away, but guys, I’m so excited! Think gorgeous invitation, swag bags with Kate Spade and Lululemon goodies– the works! I think this whole thing is going to blow your socks off! In fact, I know it will- especially with Cynthia Kain behind the lens! Thank you Cynthia for all that you’re doing– I’m so incredibly honored to be working with you!
The hope is that the photos from our shoot will be published on a bigger blog and (maybe) drive a little traffic back here. As I’m sure you can imagine, I’m extremely excited to share the FFAB message with the world in such a fun and unique way! I hope that my story, this blog, my message is all well-received!
Here’s a sneak peek at some of what you’ll see in the shoot:
What kind of big dreams do you have for your blog?
Would you consider having a healthier-type bachelorette party?
What a great idea! I loved Barre, it would be so much fun to do for a bachelorette – although I couldnt walk the first time I did it. You could totally all wear tutu’s aswell! Cant wait to see the results of the shoot!
