New Home Tour

So most of you guys know that I moved this past weekend!! We bought a condo and I love it! I thought you might like a peak at what it looks like now that we’re all moved in! Enjoy!
Hey-Guys

I just have to pause for a second and say how excited I am about this bed! It’s new! We got it a few months ago but decided to wait to unwrap it until we moved; it felt so good to finally pull off that plastic! My plan is to paint the walls a deep grey, add nightstands (we need a new dresser too) and hang textured curtains. We’ve also got a gorgeous trellis rug on the way for this room! I can’t wait to see it come together. Eek!

As you can see we haven’t unpacked our second bedroom. We plan to make this room into an office (see my other offices here and here) and I’m really excited to see it come together as well!

Of course, we have a few projects planned, from putting up crown molding to installing a mantel and even a washer/dryer; getting new living room furniture and a new, handmade farmhouse-style dining table. However, for now, we’re just enjoying this place as-is, which I have to say, is more than good enough for us!

Any advice for us, as new home owners?

How do you prioritize house projects?

Oh, and ps: Rocky wants to play fetch now! 🙂

Enjoy! We said our top priority would be building a wardrobe since we sold ours with our old flat, but we waited almost a year to decide on a supplier and since we ordered it in June, they lost our measurements and had to come measure again and now it’s November and still no wardrobe. Sigh.
Not sure if I have any advice… but try to really do your priorities and not just say “This is the top priority!” like we did. Haha. Money was an issue too and agreeing on how to do it. That’s why we took forever with our lights too and still haven’t got “proper” lights for the office and bedroom. We fight about some things we clash on and then needs a few months off to think about it for awhile.

    Aww, bless little Rocky’s heart!
Congrats on getting settled in (we were nowhere near that organized after a week) and your plans sound fabulous. So far we base things on what breaks first, but that’s not something you have to deal with in more recent construction, lol.
